Butthe men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority.]”- the Prophet (PBUH) said: "The best of you is the one who is best to his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives." - Messenger of Allah (PBHU) said, "A believer must not hate (his wife) believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics he will be pleased with another".
