"Allah, the Almighty, stretches His Hand during the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and stretches His Hand during the day so that the sinners of the night may repent. He keeps doing so until the sun rises from the west.''
Abu Mūsa ‘Abdullāh ibn Qays al-Ash‘ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:
