"O Messenger of Allah, will you not appoint me as you appointed so-and-so?" He replied: "You will experience favoritism after me, so have patience until you meet me at the Basin."
Usayd ibn Hudayr and Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: A man from the Ansār said:
